Fifi & Friends {article contains gifted products}

Knowing we would spend the majority of our week at the pool on holiday this collaboration came along at just the right time!

We have been using the Fifi & friends range of products every day this week and they’ve been a godsend.

Formulated by Mum of one Tamara Ecclestone, the range of Fifi & friends products have been created to be as gentle as possible on a child’s skin. The whole collection of products are hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested, and free from parabens, sulphates, silicones and wheat.

I do worry that there are SO many products out there right now, with bright colours & cute characters specifically made to appeal to children which don’t take into consideration the delicate nature of baby soft skin-& so this range is a winner for me as the core aim is gentle cleansing.

As a visits to the pancake house & ice creams by the pool were a daily theme for us the wipes came in really handy, they’re the thickest softest wipes I’ve ever used-I even borrowed a couple to take off my make up! The pack is quite slim-which I love as it makes them easier to slip into a handbag or even hand luggage if you’re going abroad.

I don’t tend to wash Annie’s hair everyday usually, but on holiday we swam daily & I didn’t want the chlorine sat in her hair, so I used the gentle swimmers shampoo on her. It’s a huge bottle, so perhaps a little heavy to lug around everyday, we decanted it into smaller travel sized bottles which was perfect as a little goes a long way, even on her rapunzel-esque mane! We followed the shampoo with a spritz of the conditioning detangling spray which sorted out any tangles!

The one thing I’d prefer the products to have is a light scent. The product range is said to include organic aloe vera, organic coconut oil, avocado oil and sweet almond oil. But personally I didn’t detect that in the sense of a smell to any of the products-but some people would probably prefer that!

We all found that the pool water/chemicals in it, left our skin hugely dry & itchy, so after a couple of days I applied the rescue cream, an intensive nourishing barrier cream to the kids torsos before the got in the pool & it made a huge difference. I’ll definitely slip this little tube of wonder stuff in my bag from now on!

The full range of Fifi & friends products can be bought here. I spotted a daily essentials gift box on the website which looks like the perfect thing to give a new family.

I’ll definitely continue using this range as I love the simple purity at its heart.

Much love,

K x
